My name is Clara. For twenty-nine years I have made jewelry by hand, each piece slowly and with care, just as my mother taught me.
She wore something beautiful every day of her life, and when I asked her why, she smiled and said, "Not because it's expensive, because you deserve to feel beautiful."
Since 2014 I have kept this little atelier going on my own. I won't pretend it is always easy — but every morning I open my doors, and every kind note from one of you brings the warmth and the joy right back. You dear women are the reason I keep going.
Today marks exactly twenty-nine years since I began, at twenty-nine years old myself. To celebrate this special day, and to thank you, I am doing something rather foolish: everything is $29 today. Just this one day. A gift from my heart to those who have carried my work, and me, all these years.
